We moved away since then and my wife made a new account that hasn’t been banned. I considered trying it but I’ve been rebanned almost immediately when I tried before on the last one and I worry if I try again they’ll ban me and everyone on my wifi again.

They also banned my wife and my downstairs roommate. I assume for being on the same wifi? Or ip address? Or something? Idk they were mad but I like to think I helped them in a way.

I got banned from Reddit for making jokes about eating rich people. They warned me and temp banned me twice before the permaban. It was over like 6 months too, which means I don’t learn lessons and have a tendency to make those jokes often.

Read some books about successful revolutions and the states that replaced them and get back to me. You’re asking me to explain an incredibly multifaceted and complicated thing with tons of historical context and political theory behind it over Lemmy and I am not willing to do that, these are things you will have to put time and effort into learning on your own lad.

There are literally thousands of books written about different systems than this one, many of which I would consider better.

Well we should destroy the system that enables this and remove these people from any position of power indefinitely. I personally also think they should be put in fucking prison.

I don’t even like using that stupid left-right sliding scale to describe American politicians anymore. That’s not what most of these people are. They are just conduits for oligarchy to filter money from the working class to the elites and don’t hold any real personal ideology beyond that. They campaign on divisive social issues but for the majority of them that’s really where it truly ends within the context of political ideology as a working class man OR as someone who studies the philosophy of politics understands it.
