Health concerns are legit, but have they seen the prices? A 6 pack of Bud Light is regularly 9 bucks. FOR BUD LIGHT. Forget about premium brands, those are 12 and up. Hell, small batch locals are up to 15+. Liquor hasn’t shot up quite as much, but it has climbed.
Don’t even get me started on how much bars/restaurants charge.
Some rental places will let you bypass the counter and go straight to your vehicle. I would check in early everytime if bypassing was an option. I once waited over 2 hours at a counter due to the line. I had booked prior, but couldn’t bypass the line regardless.
I’d assume that after years and years of absorbing rising prices, they just are finally at a point where they have to to stay afloat. I’m sure just the aluminum tariffs are a huge reason.

It will be even worse than before. Texas hasn’t added any power generating capacity outside of the devil that is solar and wind. Solar and wind are the only reasons we haven’t seen the rolling blackouts for a few years now. Texas is even trying to make it harder to add more solar and wind, so it will strain even more.

The one thing Xbox has had going for it for a while now is actual usage. There were metrics out there that even with the smaller player base, users engaged with and had more playtime than PS. This was true well into the current gen.
