I’m not disagreeing with you but Destin from smarter everyday had a video where he did a ride along in an Air Force fighter jet and by far the least interesting part of the video was when they broke the sound barrier and were flying super sonic. They were up at like cruising altitude though so that’s the main reason it was mostly uninteresting.

I don’t even think it’s limited to the cheaper brands. I thought I heard about Samsung (or some other similarly large vendor) TVs connecting to networks their servers knew about for updates and stuff all of course without your interaction/consent.
