2014 for me. Gamergate was…weird. I didn’t realize it fully at the time, but there were a few people I previously respected that I started having serious questions about.

Couple years later, I started cutting maga out of my life and if felt exactly like those gamergate folks.

So the “victim” you describe, the guy blindly merging without adequately paying attention to their surroundings and causing a crash.

I think the parent analogy still works, actually. It’s a bit like Israel’s Hannibal Directive. Even if the individual is at fault, they are able to petition their government and ask for help, which might potentially put the government in a position to make some seriously unfortunate decisions.

It is an attempt to prevent citizens from becoming political pawns.

I’d even say motorcycle is optional. If you’re going in a straight line, not changing lanes at all, in the left lane, on a highway or other controlled entry/exit road…you can be going mach fuck for all I care. You are not the problem.

Fun fact: you need specially designed cremation ovens for, uh, ‘plus sized’ folks. Fat burns pretty hot, so using a regular sized oven is a great way to catch the funeral home on fire.

I think many voters are disengaged enough to vaguely know that it’s cool to be against flock, but not really know why.

See, when elections come around, if you’re an American you will show up and vote for trump. Just like every Republican will. And everyone you convince to not vote becomes electorally irrelevant. Their views no longer matter to the party, because they didn’t vote.

If she would have crossed the street without a gun, then legitimately not hearing what they said seems valid.

I tried installing Linux but something went wrong and it didn’t work.

Drive through bumfuck, nowhere in the US. You’ll find a town of about 5-10k population, an hours drive from civilization, and it will be full of dilapidated ruins of houses.
