- And if they have some kind of shared vision because of technology or telepathy, then make it hurt them them when one goes down. - Or make it make sense, like they have to spend a turn to contact the others, or they shout to alert other NPCs, but that just means there know there’s a threat in this general area, not “we now have magic GPS for the next five minutes, and then I guess it must have been the wind.”
- Real-time games with an intentional omission of a pause feature. - Agreed. I can understand in MMOs, but if I’m the only one playing, the game should stop when I say stop. - At least make it an option in the accessibility settings if it’s not “the developers’ intended experience”.
- The issue with “a little education” is that it has to be the right little bit. - For most people who don’t make a career or a hobby out of it, it’s like being pointed at a library and told “if you just read one book, you wouldn’t have this problem.” - Okay. Which book?

 Title: She hates him!
Video: She says she "hates "him, but is clearly being ironic.- Bad clickbait

Video: Editor stitches together unrelated events to make it look like she said she hates him.
7·10 days ago 7·10 days ago- This one could’ve stayed in the shower.
- Add Lena to our list of Torment Nexus stories.
- I was thinking Soma.
- Smart collections and gatekeeping. - Plex allows me to set up smart collections and shuffle, so every time I open the app (or refresh it), I have a random short list of shows in my library that I haven’t watched yet. - That, and there was some weird glitch where it would progressively use up more memory on my server until it crashed. I checked the forums and the threads about it were elitist and toxic. - So I figured I’d check back in a few years rather than deal with superusers. - Edit: Someone saw themselves in my comment and didn’t like it.
2·11 days ago 2·11 days ago- You’re right, it is the title of the article. - And I’m right, it’s still not “new”. - Even if it was “a perfect nottheonion title”, the second rule if the comm is that posts be from a credible source. The U.S. Sun is not a credible source.
 - Your post is being downvoted because it’s low quality. - Calm down instead of trying to use “you furries” like it’s some kind of slur. It makes you sound like - a Fox news anchorpresidential appointee.
18·12 days ago 18·12 days ago- The article is from March, so not “new”. - Public indecency already covers using a litterbox in class and high schoolers - wearing chokers- identifying as whateverthefuckbeing cringe is nothing new.- All this bill would have accomplished is accidentally outlaw mascots. - And again, the bill has already not passed.
- Am I correct in understanding that migrating Jellyfin migrates only the Jellyfin database and won’t affect my Plex setup or my actual media ? - If the worst that could happen is that the migration fails and I have to start over with a brand new Jellyfin database, I don’t mind since it’s only my secondary media server (for now).
5·13 days ago 5·13 days ago- have some respect for your beliefs and agree that you are right. - That doesn’t mean I shouldn’t question/interrogate them. - If you are the light, if your enemies are darkness, then there’s nothing that you cannot justify. - History is full of people who’ve done horrible things because they were convinced of the Righteousness of their cause. - *points in MAGA’s general direction* - I show up to my local protests and do firearms training (just in case,) but that doesn’t mean I’m going stop thinking about where the line should be drawn.
292·13 days ago 292·13 days ago- I generally agree, but how is that different from Jan 6? - That was 2,000 people showing up on Congress’ doorstep to do damage. - I’m don’t mind being a hypocrite when it’s for the working class, but I hope we have a better argument than “it’s good when my team does it.”
923·13 days ago 923·13 days ago- I would tell you what courage means if I thought it might help you. - Someone offers a counterpoint and your first impulse is to insult?
- Only if that requirement is explicitly stated in the question.
1434·13 days ago 1434·13 days ago- Counterpoint: People need to eat and pay rent, and those things don’t go away just because you’re protesting the latest bullshit the government is up to.

Yea, me, too.
I couldn’t find the Reddit thread I thought I saw it in, and now I’m half-convinced it’s the Mandala Effect.
