    Good luck to him, hope he does well. Should never have gone to England, the Bundesliga suits him way better. €11 million isn’t a bad price assuming he gets fit again. I do wonder what Frankfurt can offer in terms of salary. He’ll be earning a fortune at United.

      A great price for the buyers, terrible for the sellers. United have not been very good in selling, but then they end up taking on players who have so little resale value and on very high wages.

      well just as he had a shot at getting some minutes last season he picked up a season ending injury in January.

        He’s been back a little while now (on the bench a few times of late) but at no point did he seem to look like getting on the pitch. Obviously I don’t have the inside access to what goes on at United, it just seems weird you have a Dutch manager, a hungry player who was proven at Ajax, and a need for rotation; definitely best for the lad to go to a team which will value him.
