The UFL unveiled its eight team markets for the 2024 season, including a collection of top franchises from both the USFL and XFL.

The XFL-USFL merger was announced December 31, with the new name (United Football League) and markets retained announced January 1:

USFL Conference

  • Birmingham Stallions
  • Houston Roughnecks
  • Memphis Showboats
  • Michigan Panthers

XFL Conference

  • Arlington Renegades
  • DC Defenders
  • San Antonio Brahmas
  • St Louis Battlehawks

Seems like Fox Sports and ESPN are going to share it, which basically makes it the 2020 iteration of the XFL…

Also, not sure what to do with this community now. I’m leaning towards locking it and starting up a new UFL one before the season kicks off, although repurposing this as the UFL community is an option (I think the XFL URL is fixed, though).
