Fred Hampton. They got his head of security to drug him, then came in on him with his pregnant girlfriend asleep next to him and murdered him. His tombstone is all shot up, because cops go there to shoot at it.

He was the Illinois chairman of the black panther party, and his focus was bringing all races together to fight economic injustice. That, and educating everyone about the class warfare being waged by the extraction class.

    Edit: typo

It’s not just limited to those outside America! Marxists like Fred Hampton have been murdered in the name of protecting the American Empire.

Criticize it if you want, but the Soleimani assassination wasn’t political violence. He was a top ranking military leader who arranged terrorist operations that killed a lot of people.

I’ll take “what is every American president” for 100 Alex.

In all seriousness Suleimani did a lot of fighting against ISIS. Funny you use the word terrorism when speaking about a brown person too. Guess Suleimani wasn’t “politically violent”.

The president is a civilian and other decisions ultimately lie in civilian hands. While it’s common for presidents to have some level of service in some form of armed forces, it’s usually low ranking. There are some notable exceptions: Washington, Eisenhower, and Grant. So yes, killing them is political violence. But targeting leaders in the armed forces is not.

And yes, Iran fought ISIS, a lot of players held common cause against ISIS. Cool. Doesn’t excuse what they’ve done elsewhere.

The president is the Commander in Chief of the armed forces of the United States of America. Literally every decision made by the military is under their purview. Yes, they’re a civilian. They’re are still in control of the military.
