Two men are sitting on a bench. One man (Everett True) is large and wearing a dark coat. The other man is small and dressed in a light-colored suit with a hat. The small man is staring intently at a third man.

(Panel 2)

Everett True: It’s very plain, mister, that the man sitting opposite has lost an arm, and it’s plain also that your staring annoys him!!! Why not ogle me?—I’ve lost my temper!!!

Everett True kicks the man in the light-colored suit off the bench. The man is thrown to the ground with his hat flying off.
