RELEASE THE NICK CAVE CUT!
I heard bad things, but I’m willing to judge it myself. I want to watch the original first as it as been like 20 years.
I didn’t think it was terrible. Set pieces were beautiful, acting was good, cinematography/framing was excellent. Pacing was a bit off, and there were some major plot points that kinda took me out of the immersion.
I wouldn’t have hated it so much if I hadn’t watched the first film. It felt more like an inferior remake than a sequel.
The Force Awakens all over again.
