One game doesn’t mean we “fixed” the drops and turnovers, but it was promising. The gameplan was good
We had a negative turnover differential last year as well. The key was reversing that trend in the playoffs. Hope we can do the same.
Rashee Rice had by far his best game and showed more versatility in his routes than he has all season. Raiders aren’t a great pass defense but they’re still better than many of the shitty ones we’ve struggled with this year
I am optimistic the Chiefs can continue to improve on their turnovers later into the season, but the recency bias in sports and specifically in clickbait headlines makes me lose brain cells
Dak doesn’t really feel like an MVP, but no one else has stepped up to take it from him.
Obviously a homer view, but if the Chiefs cut out the turnovers, and feed more targets to the guys on the team that can catch instead of spreading it around to 11 guys, no one’s going to have a chance against them until the SB.
I didn’t mention cutting out penalties, cause I wanted to be realistic, and I just don’t see a world where Smith/Taylor don’t have 2-3 penalties a game minimum between them.
They have to be one of the healthiest teams in the league at this point, with no impact players out for the season, and several important guys coming back before the playoffs.
Dak is NOT in the MVP conversation. He has put up insane stats vs bad teams and has not won any game vs a good team.
It’s weird how he gets credit for beating tomato cans when other WBs don’t get nearly the same credit for actually beating real teams.
The team ranking is fair tho.
Dak first needs to play well (even better, win) against a team with a winning record. Bearing up on teams that aren’t hot right now isn’t MVP material.
