Then how ? You just discovered it. There are plenty movies with subtitles but at least you get the experience of our daily life in 2 minutes and there is a post about it on Lemmy.

That’s not the best experience but it worked.

Most of time, we won’t understand when you talk. Few people will do the effort to write on a paper. And there is a lack of subtitles, interpreters. We are forced to go through various stressful situations.

So, i love that it show you the other side. I love that you get this experience once in your life because most of time, people don’t care. They aren’t deaf and ignore it, since it don’t concern them. They have no idea how many movies, podcasts, dramas, meetings, appointements, parties, course…are inaccessible to us. They just call, talk and live on.

Yeah it is a shame, but i hope you will be a little more aware and join us. :)

I don’t know because i haven’t read their TOS. I don’t use their instances, services. It only concern their 2 servers.

They are updating their TOS on their own mastodon server and made them compliant with europe regulation

The advantage of a camera vs a phone camera is its light sensor. On camera, light sensor are bigger than phone which allow you capturing night detail.

And you can add a tripod to stabilize your image to avoid blurry picture. There is also camera stabiliser for moving movie.

You can also change its lense to capture better dark area. For example a lense where you can’t zoom but have an opening of 1.2

I recommend you learning the basic for taking a photo. Sorry i don’t know the correct english word for each of them :

• white balance
• apperture

Sadly i don’t know well camera to recommend you one that fit your budget. I own a 3/4 camera, that has a sensor just below reflex anl are compact. So i’m very happy, it is lesq bulky. My brand is Lumix, i like their UI because i can quickly select the focal point on its tactile screen, quickly increase or decrease speed.

I recommend you testing their UI. I owned a Canon and i was disappointed. I had to select the focal point with button or manage it with lenses rings and that’s not very fast, mor efficient.

I hope it helped you to understand better camera and make your choice. Imo, you should test their ui and see how easily you can configure your camera. :)

This has been an extremely obvious flaw in the modlog concept from the very start, and has been discussed on and off for years. IMO, it exposes a much wider issue with federated forums as currently implemented, despite the aggressive defense of some vague concept of “openness.”

I agree with your point but would nuance it. Some part are flawed but we also saw the good side of the modlog openess, let’s not forget thay.

Otherwise the community yptb wouldn’t exist, we wouldn’t able to juge our action, user wouldn’t be able to choose their own instance and that’s terrible.

We already have lot power : seeing vote, ban, delete…and for me, the modlog counter-balance our tools. So i hope we can find something in the middle ground. :)

On mod tools, i think we need to developp other tool than than ban and delete, they are very aggresive. I hope we will see new tools that will change the way we take action.
