Good game for the neutral that, not so much for me.
God bless Ollie Watkins.
Hmmm
Poor, poor performance from us and from the ref. Bournemouth looking a very tidy side. We were lucky to come away with a point.
Cracking game that, very enjoyable.
Really not so worried about relegation anymore.
Ref was dreadful
Fuck it I’ll take the point. Bournemouth very lucky to have 11 men, but they did play very well and could have won if not for an Emi masterclass. Truly world class header from Watkins at the end there. Definitely missed Kamara, our build up play was so much less fluid. Still 3 points clear at 4th so not the end of the world.
Something needs to be done about the abysmal refereeing in this league. How Semenyo has stayed on that pitch is a complete mystery.
Villa away and home is like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
Good that Bournemouth are sticking with Iraola. I remember there were some murmurs of him being sacked after the poor start but they’ve played very well lately.
Fair result. We were the better side most of the game, so I’m a little gutted we didn’t close it out. Happy to be getting a point though.
I agree with you playing well but you should’ve had 10 men, possibly even 9 if the ref was actually not blind today.
Completely disagree. You had a few players who got away with murder too. Some very clever tactical fouls which didn’t get picked up or penalised. The referee wasn’t the reason you didn’t get 3 points. He was shit for both of us.
You disagree that Semenyo should have had 3 yellows essentially? He got the first one, then the blatant tug back of the shirt that’s a yellow every day, and the foul that led to one of our free kicks?
I don’t see how you could think that we got away with murder. Like I said we were poor but the game would’ve been very different playing 60 mins with the minimum of one extra man.
