When 9 first comes to life, he finds himself in a post-apocalyptic world. All humans are gone, and it is only by chance that he discovers a small community of others like him taking refuge from fearsome machines that roam the earth intent on their extinction. Despite being the neophyte of the group, 9 convinces the others that hiding will do them no good.

    It had terrible writing. Sad, because everything else was amazing. The setting, design and animation. Just a little better writing and it would have been legendary.

    Imagine a remake but with stop motion. It would probably flop at the box office but still.

      No, I liked it too!

      While the story wasn’t anything great, I don’t see it as bad as the other comments.

    The short was great.

    The actual movie is the closest I’ve been to walking out of a theatre. Anime in disguise, poorly written, poorly acted, poorly directed piece of shit.
