Doesn’t it use whatever the desktop is using? I assume this really means that if the desktop is using Wayland, it directly uses Wayland libraries instead of some x11 adapter?
If it was written for X11, it would use xwayland on Wayland. That’s what many apps use.

Does this mean that they have finally solved the mouse centrering issue, which means that you can actually play Minecraft on Wayland now? Woho!
