He’s back to his playful self (yay!!!). He’s running around, jumping, chasing stuff! Overall, he’s just a lot more mobile. Also, he’s gotten a lot more affectionate around me these past 4 days. Do you think he understands that by bringing him to the vet, I’m helping him feel better?

    So glad he’s doing better!

    And personally, I believe while he doesn’t actually comprehend what a doctor is, he is aware that you are bringing him to the mean, stabby human and then he feels better and is able to associate the two, just not at our level. Our pets are way smarter than people give them credit for.

      I’m not even sure how much they’re bothered by needles. I have one I have to give IV fluids to and he doesn’t seem to care about the needle at all. What does bother him is if the water is cold.
