    Those changes only matter if people actually go out and vote. We had record voter turnout in 2022 for the midterms and we prevented the “red wave” that conservatives at the time were screaming about. But, a massive number of people still stayed home and didn’t vote. We could have taken both houses of Congress easily if even 1/4 of those people that stayed home actually got up and voted. So while the redistricting to reverse gerrymandering in some areas is a huge victory, the point is moot if everyone stays home.
