Beginning Feb. 1, City Schools of Decatur is updating its meal charge procedures for the school year. Students can have a maximum of three meals charged to their accounts for the entire school year. Once the limits are reached, students will be given an alternative meal of a cheese sandwich and milk.

    @DecaturishNewsBot this makes me furious. Why. Ant general funds be used to pay for food? I’m sure it’s because this third party vendor would rip off the state, but cmon, Georgia has all that stupid surplus from avoiding spending on things like food for kids. Just pay for lunch
