So this story is about nothing?
I only vaguely remember hearing about these phones, what is so special about them again?
Nothing.
That’s late for a company that only has two phones, but I guess it’s a small company.
I don’t give them any excuses tbh. It shows that their os is pretty insecure.
Insecure in what way?
Maybe I’m just a sucker for implementing security fixes quickly but the more time you have between upstream and downstream, the more time the attacker can attack.
Timely security updates and late major Android version upgrades aren’t exclusive. I don’t know whether Nothing phones receive monthly security updates, but many other big manufacturers don’t either.
