Particularly Word and Excel?
Collabora has a quit well working Android APP https://www.collaboraoffice.com/collabora-office-android-ios/
And thats basically libre office
Huh. Never heard of this one before.
Colabora is pretty much the only real option.
There are others, but if you’re looking to move away from Microsoft, putting your time into an even sketchier company like is behind WPS isn’t likely going to be an option. It works well, but it’s not good enough to deal with bs when colabora works just as well
OnlyOffice has an Android version.
Why isn’t this mentioned on official OpenOffice site?
Guess I’ll try both that and Collabora.
Because OPENOffice and ONLYOffice are different things.
That’s why I can’t subscribe to openfans.com? smh my head.
OpenOffice and OnlyOffice aren’t related. OnlyOffice is way closer to MS Office in look and feel.
Under the hood it’s also way more similar: LibreOffice uses the odt format internally (and converts docx to it on the fly, sometimes leading to some formatting weirdness). OnlyOffice on the other hand uses docx internally, meaning better compatibility with MS Office (but also some weirdness with odt files).
(I’ve used docx and odt as placeholders for all the other formats here, like pptx, xlsx, etc.)
Docs and Sheets are Googles alternatives if that’s what your asking. I’m sure there’s others though.
Yeah I’m looking for something like LibreOffice.
Google Docs, I guess?
Not really a big fan of them though.
AndroOffice, or whatever it’s called, is a port of LibreOffice to Android.
It’s a little cumbersome ( use it on a big tablet, not on a little phone ), but it’s got the capability that nothing-else has.
I agree with people who hate the UI, on mobile the desktop UI’s … not a wise choice…
… but if you’re using a bluetooth keyboard, it’s much better.

If you want real spreadsheets, it seems the best option around.
I’m presuming its Word equivalency is similar.
I’ve tried multiple alternatives for spreadsheets, & for me, nothing else came close.
Now, however, I think that using Julia programming, instead of spreadsheets, would make everything in the whole world work better.
