I’m including all ways to stream; if it’s an Apple exclusive then I haven’t found any way at all to stream. I went ahead and paid the $ to Apple and have enjoyed seeing the games live, without having a mad google session as the game began with a gazillion porn ads on sketchy sites to find the SkySports stream or wherever it would be available in previous years.
Wow haha. So I just found out that my wife already has an AppleTV+ subscription shared with me, so I guess I just have to shell out for the MLS add-on which is tolerable I guess.
I was thinking last night that if I was to go out a sports bar/restaurant to watch every game I’d still be shelling out cash every time there as well.
Nevertheless, it looks like this Sunday’s game against Philly is free on AppleTV+ and broadcast on Fox
So uh would I just watch directly from the MLS website?
When I visit its “watch” page, everything seems to direct me to AppleTV?
Anyhow I guess I’m currently good with AppleTV+ since my wife is already paying for it… but maybe this might help for others
I’m not an AppleTV subscriber, I’m an MLS Season Pass subscriber. I can watch the ATL games, but I can’t watch Ted Lasso. They aren’t tied together other than both are serviced by Apple. There may be benefits of subscribing to both, but I don’t know what they are.
ETA: in other words, you are not good to watch it via your wife’s AppleTV unless your wife is also a subscriber to MLS Season Pass.
Oh man. Thanks for all this info… but I can’t help feeling an overwhelming sense of old man yells at clouds vibe bubbling within me whenever I think about the state of tv these days

FWIW, you don’t need Apple TV+ to get the MLS subscription – they’re independent of each other.

You’ll need to sign up for Apple TV (free), but you don’t need TV+.
