Video playback resumes to normal when ad blockers are disabled

plot twist: youtube has stopped showing videos altogether, so ad blockers hide the only thing they show instead.
The only way I can keep watching YouTube is with Smart Tube, uBlock and SponsorBlock. Donating 1€ to a content creator is equivalent to watch hundreds of hours worth of ads, so I prefer to do that when I can.
I use an adblocker and have noticed no difference in months.
