US radio host Charlamagne tha God says opinion polls suggesting black Americans may flee the Democratic party to vote for Donald Trump may be “overstated”.
I thought we only cared about what Ja Rule thinks?
Ja hasn’t been involved in politics for decades now. That’s why government is turning into a circus. Nobody knows wtf they are doing anymore.
Is he running polls or something now? Why should I care what his opinion is?
He’s a prominent black radio host who likely has a decently good impression of the political leanings of his listeners and is observing a contrast between the polling and his experience on the ground.
Is his listener base representative of the black community - good question.
But I think his opinion is probably relatively informative.
I have a hard time taking anyone who calls themself “_______ tha god” seriously.
Okay but should we take someone who calls themselves ramenshaman seriously?
Point taken. I don’t really even eat ramen on account of the diabeetus.
Or just calls themselves Charlemagne, really.
Not exactly a nice guy, what with all the warmongering and forced conversion to Christianity. (Though it should be noted several social reforms including education helped spark the carolingan renaissance)
Where is Ja???
This is the best summary I could come up with:
US radio host Charlamagne tha God says opinion polls suggesting black Americans may flee the Democratic party to vote for Donald Trump may be “overstated”.
"Both President Joe Biden, a Democrat, and Trump, a Republican, have ramped up their efforts to court black voters, as November’s White House election looms.Pollsters currently predict a tight race decided between a few swing states, where some polls have shown Trump gaining ground among black voters, a key Democratic voting bloc.
“I’m sure there are some black men that support Donald Trump, but that is not the overall sentiment,” added the broadcaster, whose legal name is Lenard McKelvey.A recent New York Times and Sienna College poll suggested that over 20% of black voters in key swing states - Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin - would back Trump in November.
That signals a deep shift compared to 2020, when 92% of black voters nationally cast their ballot for Mr Biden to help him win, according to Pew Research.
But McKelvey - host of the popular radio show The Breakfast Club, which boasts over 4.5 million weekly listeners - said that support might be “a little over-overstated”.The negative polling for Democrats is more of a signal of black voter frustration than a new voting trend, he added.
There is also speculation that Trump may choose Tim Scott, a black Senator from South Carolina, as his running mate to win over more of the African-American vote.

Cool. What does ja rule think? He at least had a reason to have a moniker since we seem to accept that for rappers. I don’t think Leonard mcclevy or whatever Charlemagne’s real name is actually has a justification for using that moniker. He certainly is not intelligent, insightful or has ever really had a good take on anything… He’s a useless obnoxious attention whore and always has been.
In case you didn’t know, he has been a guest on Greg Gutfeld’s talk show, were he thinks he is funny discussing the same stupid subjects he would discuss on any other Fox News show.
EDIT: Of course I didn’t watch the show. I am just aware he was a guest. On top of that, I assume every guest is picked because they have something bad to say about the Democratic Party.
Dang, there are a lot of political weirdos out there on the left and the right. Get a grip.
