    So Russia steals valued land so they have warm water port for their Navy.

    Ukraine, a nation without a Navy, then makes Crimea untenable for Russian naval vessels.

      Russian entire narrative collapsed after Ukraine survived first few months.

      I am not sure how Russia recovers as great power now.

      There closer to a rogue state now akin to commie korea and theocratic iran

        Yeah, recent analysis of Russian stores show they are really hurting for military equipment too. At the going rates of depletion vs manufacturing/repair my unprofessional guess is they have at most 18 months before they are completely exhausted of tanks and artillery. They already avoid using their air force and the navy has retreated.
