    their value system is completely opposed to ours. there is no point in any kind of good faith debate. they want in groups and out groups. they cannot be reasoned with. drop that entire concept and ask yourself what comes next if the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

      Not that it will have any immediate effect, but - if you wear the right skin and attitude - you can leverage your perceived position as being on the in group to sow seeds of doubt against the whole in-group/out-group thing. These people will bend over backwards to be perceived as worthy by the in group, which makes them highly fuck-with-able

      Get it in their head that they are part of the out group for even bothering with the in-group/out-group nonsense

        we tried that in the early days of the internet. it didn’t work. once grandpa got on facebook, it was over.

        look at one of those maps of america showing the red and blue areas. they have an in group that spans the width of the country nearly. we outnumber them but they have an empire of culture.

        plus, it’s christian nationalism. they’re not going to give up that position. i’ve been watching it develop for a long time, i only see one way out of it.
