John Mearsheimer: “I won’t vote for the Democrats because of the genocide in Gaza. I think the Biden administration is complicit in the genocide and genocide is a red line for me.”

A Kamala win basically signals to the oligarchy that as long as there’s a Trump or worse, they can use fear to excuse any atrocity. It moves the US deeper into fascism. If mass atrocities and genocide aren’t a redline, then what is?

Anybody who starts trying to justify voting for these ghouls simply exposes themselves as being utterly morally bankrupt.

This is basically it. The Democrats figured out that they don’t have to promise anything substantial as long as they can scare people into voting for them because the other team is worse. They can also rehash old promises as long as they find some excuse not to deliver on them when they have the power to do so.

So just like in 2016 with Bernie or bust, these asshat are giving away their vote for Trump basically.

I understand their complaint, but c’mon.

So you have no red line.

In 2028 when Harris is exterminating everyone in the immigration detention camps you’ll vote for her because Republicans are worse.

Had they kept quiet instead of trying to justify genocide they might have better chances in future elections, but I think they have lost some voters forever. Whether that will matter or not is yet to be seen, they are betting on winning more former-Republican and former-Trump voters so being pro-genocide might work for them.

It doesn’t take a lot to go from concentration camps to extermination camps, historically speaking, and the US does have concentration camps for migrants and refugees.

I’d like to know how much of this is a state level decision and how much is federal level. Then I could make a better opinion on the matter.

So if Texas started exterminating everyone in immigration detention camps you’d absolve Harris of all responsibility.

                You’re literally making up interpretations.

                No I wouldn’t absolve her.

Besides this is all based on what? Shit that she hasn’t done or that hasn’t happened yet?

Why are we even debating imaginary scenarios???

The point is you either vote for Kamala Harris, the least worst of the two major candidates, or if you’re voting for third party or cancelling your vote your just giving it away to Trump. Either that or you’re voting Trump.

Kamala sure isn’t a fucking angel, but she’s a way better option than Trump as a potential president. And those other topics like the migrant camps and the genocide by Israel, are all shit you can protest and ask for change once she’s in office. With enough pressure, at least she has the chance to change the policies. With Trump that won’t even be an opinion. And judging from your username, you’re the one that might end up in a concentration camp under Trump. So think about that.

As part of the Biden administration she’s already party to genocide and a crackdown against asylum seekers and tried to help pass a fascist border bill. The fascist agenda against migrants is on the march and she’s just fine with it.

It’s just funny how there are 3 ways you can vote on Trump. 1. Not voting. 2. Voting third party/optional. 3. Actually voting for him. But there is only one way you can not vote on him, and that’s voting Harris. The Democrats have really set this up to make it a boom or bust strategy, and the Republicans reap all the benefits.

I’m not familiar with the history, how did Democrats set a system which then lets Republicans reap the benefits? Sounds counterproductive.

The problem is that the conservatives are united under one party and one leader.

Meanwhile, the more liberal people are split between several candidates/parties.

Conservatives need to be broken up. Maybe this election, if Harris wins, the Republicans might actually do that to cut themselves off from the trumpets for better chances in the future.

No, the DNC gave it away to Trump. Whe the voters make it clear it’s Bernie or bust, then it’s fucking Bernie or bust. Don’t blame the voters, blame the politicians for not listening to the voters.
