You are trying to deny my will and my expression of it. To take away my ability to consent is to take away my personhood and my autonomy. It’s to do what you claim is bad, to take who I am and bend and use it to your wants. Let me be me without having to run it by you to make sure you’re comfortable with it. Your words make me feel small and sad and scared. If we were ever in physical space together, I would have to be on guard and I wouldn’t feel safe being authentic around you.
It’s its choice. Not yours. It’s free to choose and it chooses drag. If it didn’t, drag would respect that in a heartbeat. You’ve never met it, but it has many friends who respect its choice, and see the good it does its mental health to be treated on its own terms.
