At first I thought it was a federation issue of some sort but then realized voyager was working fine.

Sync is my favorite Lemmy app, but come on can we at least get some bug fixes once in a while?

The developer abandoned Sync. He needs to open source it and give it to the community.
I can see that post with sync. I do have the problem where it failed to load on occasion, and it’s seems like if I change networks or just wait for it to timeout in the initial request trying again usually works
