Only things that affect him personally matter to Trump. People really need to get this fact into their heads. He won’t care if the US or the world burns, as long as he can have a good time golfing at Mar a Lago.
“Foreign goods may get a little more expensive. But American goods are going to get cheaper." That’s a blatant lie by Commerce Secretary Lutnick. ALL affected goods will become more expensive in a tariff regime, irrespective of their origin. And he knows it, it’s economics 101. How can these lies just go completely unchallenged in the reporting?
