Donald Trump on Sunday refused to rule out the possibility that the US economy will head into recession this year and that inflation will rise, as his chaotic trade tariffs policy cause uncertainty and market turbulence.
The US president predicted that his economic goals would take time and a period of transition to bear fruit. But when asked in an interview with the Fox News show Sunday Morning Futures “are you expecting a recession this year?” he demurred.
“I hate to predict things like that. There is a period of transition, because what we’re doing is very big. We’re bringing wealth back to America. That’s a big thing. And there are always periods of, it takes a little time. It takes a little time, but I think it should be great for us,” Trump said.
The guy who says, “It’s gonna be the best ever…” and such hates to predict things.
Someone tell me I’m wrong, but when Trump says “great for us” he doesn’t mean great for American families, he means great for his CEO cronies.
The orange trashbag who ran every bussiness he owned into the ground didn’t get the egg prices down? Well, color me suprised.
US Recession is due to Trump. He literally bankrupted his own casinos for his gains. He is basically going to do what he is good at to US.
I wonder how all the MAGA cap people would react to a similar ‘I did that’/‘Thanks Obama’ sticker, but this time with Tump in it.

These sorts of people aren’t really capable of responding to anything other than displays of power; they don’t respect anything else.
It just took one CEO getting murdered for other CEOs to panic, to try to make the story about how the CEO was a ‘family man’ or whatever, for many CEOs to have their pictures removed from company websites–they don’t give a shit about ethics, or history, or anything, but they sure as hell do respond to displays of power.
I think maybe just getting a couple of them would prove to be enough.
