1. Can I do it yet?
  2. I assume it’s at the vault level. Meaning an entire vault is either shared or not shared, rather than each individual password within. Yes?
  3. Can both (all, but in my case my wife) people with access to the shared vault add/delete/edit all passwords within it?
  4. what’s the situation if a paid account is sharing a vault with a free account?

    1. No, not yet, it’s on their roadmap.

2-4) See number 1 - exact functionality hasn’t been disclosed yet as far as I know.

Update as sharing is now available.

    • It is currently only at the vault level. They are looking into allowing individual password sharing
    • That depends on what sharing permission you give. If I remember correctly you can allow **view only ** or full/edit access
    • I assume the limitations of the free account will still apply

Quote from a mail that partly answers your questions:

What’s coming next in Proton Pass?

Password Sharing: You will be able to share your logins, secure notes, email aliases, and credit card information with other people, keeping your data end-to-end encrypted at all times.
Web app: This will let you conveniently manage your data or open Proton Pass in a full browser tab instead of the browser extension.
Desktop apps: With apps for Windows, Linux and macOS, you’ll have better offline support and better integration with your deviceʼs operating system.
