Same people that the military attracts. Those that think being violent makes one a badass, and canāt restrict themselves to fiction like a normal person.
I can tell you fundamentally donāt understand who the military tends to attract and retain.
A lot of the time itās young men from broken homes and often poverty, who want stability, a pay cheque and a future.
And college tuition
Well, yeah, them too I suppose. Still, Iām middle class, I know plenty of people willing to join for that reason. Thereās more people joining for both reasons than Iād prefer.
