Casemiro will be out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury suffered during our Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle United on Wednesday.

The Brazilian midfielder was withdrawn at half-time due to the issue, and subsequent assessment has revealed a strain that will keep him out for a number of weeks.

Urgh, don’t know what we’ll do with him. Shouldn’t have been panic bought.

Madrid finessed us, and they already had his replacements in the club a year ahead of his departure.

People keep saying he was a panic buy but from what was reported we were in talks with him for a while except that we were still trying to negotiate for FDJ before signing him

yeah but it’s quite telling the deal only went through after the losses to Brighton and Brentford, to me it seems like ETH was blocking it until he saw what the fuck these players are capable of when he accepted Casemiro who doesn’t fit his style at all

It’s fine, we won’t be playing that many games anyway since we’ll be out of all competitions. 😭

He’ll be a big loss for us, just as we were staying to get some defenders fit. It doesn’t seem like ETH will ever get to play a fully fit first team squad and we just don’t have the depth to cover all these players missing.
