He broke the premier league scoring record in his first season, he won city their first ucl. Won the treble. He has 13 goals in 12 games this season. Excluding ballondor and that, how can ANYONE not drool for Haalands goalscoring ability. This is coming from a Liverpool fan that cant believe the standard of talk around this player.

    Is he that good? he barely scores against really good teams… Look at Real Madrid or Inter. Not even a single shoot on goal. Same in Wolfes game… he can create, he only sits and waits for ball. He is far from the best still…

    Because while he’s an exceptional goalscorer, arguably one of the best we’ve ever seen, is he a great footballer? Does he offer anything else to a game other than scoring? Personally I think Nunez is a better player (NOT GOALSCORER) and think he’s great to watch.

    Breaking the scoring record with that City team isn’t as impressive a feat as it’s made out to be. Plenty of strikers would do the same with that City team. They struggled more to win the league last season than the season before that. They finished with less points, and less goals scored overall. They won the UCL but not by Haalands merit. He went missing in the SF, and Final. He also went missing in the final of the FA cup and community shield, 2 seasons running. The fact of the matter is, have city improved drastically because of Haaland? No. And was it because of him they won the UCL, league and FA cup? No. City were winning the league before, and the FA, and when it came to the big games in the UCL, he went MISSING. He’s overrated beyond belief, and can’t do it for Norway the way Lewa can for Poland. Haaland is a world class player, but not the God he’s painted to be.

    Really it’s because no one cares about City’s accomplishments. I’m not impressed by them at all due to the 115 charges against them. If Haaland did that for another team I would be more excited like when he was at BVB.

    For me, Haaland is great but he’s essentially doing it in a manufactured billion pound squad, so it’s expected.

    Haaland scoring what he has at Arsenal or Tottenham or Villa etc would be astounding. At City it’s just the work of a limitless machine.

    Because he’s a tap in merchant. He is not scoring screamers as the likes of Suarez, Rooney, Gerrard, Salah, Kane, Aguero, Son etc. Plus Haaland has only done it in 1 season in an already strong squad, so it’s not as impressive.

    Some of his misses tho this season wow. Some people just see goals in football and literally nothing else. The same people who would say van nistelrooy was better than Henry.
