I think both clubs are in disarray in their own ways. Both have great managers but not idea players. United have good players on paper but who seem to have really poor attitudes and undermine the manager eventually.

Chelsea have spent a lot of money but have a completely new squad who have had little time together and are very raw.

It’s easy to say “Chelsea should because they spent 1bn”. But I am talking about their current squads, manager, board, situation etc

Chelsea. They have got a side that is almost ready to start fighting at the top but they need a top quality striker. Man United are all over the place. They can scrape 1-0 wins against the weakest sides in the league but get shit on when they go up against anybody half decent. They also have a massive mentality and attitude problem which Chelsea doesn’t seem to suffer from.

I think a lot of noises coming out from sit jim ratcliffe and what he is reportedly looking to do in terms of staff changes from the top I’m gonna say United, but chelsea obviously have a great manager and great players with a great budget behind them they just need to spend wisely and not fuck it up like United did with bankers making football decisions

No one says they are back. But the path back seem much clearer for Chelsea than for Man United.

Chelsea have bought lots of young talent that is easy to see how they could kick on in a few years. Man United has almost the opposite problem. Several starters are nearing, or already passed, the point where they need replacing. Combined with several players who seem to contribute directly negatively to the performces, its clear Man United need a huge overhaul of the squad. Which is weird, given how Man United have been in a constant huge overhaul for the last decade. Which suggests there is something wrong within the club.

Chelsea have their issues, yes. And I would love nothing more than for that blood money funded club to fade into obscurity. But I see a clear path of improvement for then. I struggle far more to see that same path for Man United

Chelsea looks better than Manchester United, they have won against Tottenham and a draw 4-4 with Manchester City, Manchester United has struggled lately in the Champions League they are the last in the group, also in they are 6th in the prem, so how you can see from results Chelsea are better than Manchester United! and for Manchester United fans I have a question is the problem from ten hag or the players?

Not a single person has said united. I am not saying united are great or anything, but Chelsea have been absolutely wank this season and last. They have had 1 good game, they were poor against 9 man spurs and struggled to break them down. United have been dismal but nonetheless have kept within touching distance. If they can get some form and some key players back lile Martinez and Shaw it could be an OK season.

United have been very lucky this season though, if decisions and moments of luck didn’t go their way they would be around the relegation zone.

I don’t agree, i think their position reflects where they are in this moment. You could definitely also make the argument that they have been unlucky in many games as well.

          Let’s see.

          • Should have gotten at most 1 point vs Wolves. Wolves were the better team, hit the post and should have had a pen.
          • Rashford dives vs Forest to get the penalty to start the comeback
          • 2 injury time winners from McTominay in a horrible performance vs Brentford
          • 1 moment of quality (and possibly poor keeping) to get the winner vs Sheffield
          • Scraped wins against 2 promoted sides (Burnley and Luton)

            Let’s see.

Should have had a penalty against arsenal for rugby tackle on Hojlund by Gabriel.

Should have had a penalty against spurs for handball.

Harry Maguire ‘offside’ call against Fulham.

Ludicrous penalty given to city against United at Old Trafford .

Absolutely dominated against Luton, should have been 3 or 4 nil if the strikers, Hojlund, Garnacho and Rashford had converted the easy chances.

As I said it works both ways and balances out. I agree that united have been poor, but they deserve the wins they got. They struggled against Sheffield, Forest, and Burnley etc… but overall deserved the win. If they can turn it around and get some results against the more difficult up and coming fixtures their season could get back on track

Last season they finished 3rd, won the league Cup and got to the FA Cup final. I just think it’s not so clear cut as everyone is making out that 10th place Chelsea who had an abysmal season last year are suddenly better.

    Chelsea

They’ve got a good roster with talented young players. They’re likely to get Osimhen too next year.

I don’t like United’s roster. Aging stars like Casemiro, Varane and Eriksen; with Bruno approaching his 30’s.

Rashford is always a mystery, Sancho’s career in United isn’t looking salvagable, Antony never showed the potential to become an elite player. Only Hojlund looks like a positive but he’s far from being ready.

The level of performance Utd have shown has been extremely poor. Digging out results but have been outplayed or had even matches in most of the games they have played this season. From what I have seen so far the squad looks unbalanced with no clear plan on how to dominate and control a match. Then you look at the squad with players like Eriksen, Casemiro, Varane who could need replacing soon. Players like Antony, Mount, Sancho who don’t fit. I think they have a lot more work to do than Chelsea.
