This is ridiculous. The English were being beaten to the best players back in the 80s and 90s by La Liga and Serie A. Did they complain? No, they stuck around, made sure the distribution rights of the PL didn’t cripple the other clubs (ahem, Real Madrid and Barcelona) and are now reaping the benefits of those decisions.

I have absolutely zero sympathy for the plights of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico or those other Serie A clubs.
