I was absolutely gutted but not surprised to read this earlier today, I feel like I’ve been kicked in the balls to be honest but I don’t want to come across as a cry arse. It’s no secret Everton have been mismanaged for a number of years so all the moaning in the world about other teams solves nothing. Was the decision harsh? IMO Yes. Was there mitigation? Yes, it seems so but was the club mismanaged? Absolutely. The money we wasted on shite players, paying of the likes of Benitez and Silva and no doubt countless other indiscretions. Did circumstances conspire against the club? It seems so but my fear now is we get hit with a further deduction on appeal and don’t have a legal team strong enough to win - which lets face it, if it’s anything like our recruitment and club management will be shite.
