All I’ve really seen today is sensationalist headlines saying that there gonna be sent to the phantom zone or jokes saying they’ll be fine, so I’m curious to know people who thing’s expectations of what will happen

Both will take years to be concluded. City has 114 more charges than Everton. Chelsea are still being investigated.

I don’t see Chelsea being relegated or any crazy point deductions (could be wrong ofc) but a transfer ban is likely (again don’t quote me).

City could be anything bc I don’t know what the charges are specifically so I don’t know what they could potentially face.

If you look at the history of financial-related points deductions, it’s usually because of debt or non-payment.

Everton reported losses up to 3x the accepted limit (375 million) while City made 300 million last year alone from the treble prize money. It’s unlikely for City to have any points deducted because their breaches have been the opposite (not providing accurate financial information). Moreover, some of the allegations are absolutely nonsense and not even related to FFP— they include breaches like grass length being too long etc.

They’ll probably get a fine, squad reduced and transfer limitations like done earlier by UEFA (PSG also got the same sanctions).
