Given that Everton have had a 10 point deduction, it is only a matter of time before Man City, Chelsea or Newcastle will get points deductions/potential relegation.

This could lead to following things:

- Big players, from these clubs e.g. Haaland, De Bruyne, Guimaraes will leave and would likely join teams from abroad.

- Likes of La Liga or Serie A chairman will be in UEFA’s ear about this, potentiall causing them to ban English Teams

- The PL will be seen by many as a corrupt league like Serie A in mid 2000’s and will have a knock on affect in which players may choose to sign for clubs like AC Milan or Bayern Munich ahead of English teams.

    Honestly, what nonsense.

Clubs have screwed up their finances before plenty of times, the world keeps turning.

Yeah, might get messy for a couple of clubs - so? Couple of players might leave - so?

As I learned when my club imploded 20-odd years ago, everyone else very much just shrugs and gets on with it.
