NEVER COUNT OUT MEXICO. In all seriousness, it’s hard being a mexico fan. Most of our fans lack sportsmanship. Our performance is always inconsistent. Sometimes I wish we would get humbled but then SOMEHOW we make it through just barely. We will get clapped during the Copa America and I’m all here for it.

If México wasn’t able to overcome Honduras, there was no way CONCACAF would’ve let them get eliminated in the play-offs. México is their golden goose in the Latino populated areas, which are most likely to host the majority of games in the Copa América.

Normally I would hate this sort of match but if it means we get Trinidad in the play-in i’m happy with the result. Two incredible Concacaf matches back to back as always.

Tons of yellows and reds ✔️

    Shitty referee ✔️

Dodgy calls at the end of the game ✔️

    Peak CONCACAF

Canada has a better chance of qualifying for the Copa by facing Trinidad, right?

    I hope I’m not wrong

I thought the ref did a fine job, only complaint was the fk goal foul but other than that, time added and PK retakes were all correct.

This was the nastiest game of all time and not in a good way.

Have to take a shower after that.
