Probably will get stick for this, but after nearly 20 years, I want it fair and square. I want it through sweat and tears and through our sheer hard work, not because of some cheap luck. I’d rather Man City if they are guilty that they get dropped significant points this season than their title revoked from last season’s PL win. That is done and dusted and the FA should own up to it for taking long to do something about it.

Not gonna happen. But I’d love to see that and the mess that it would cause. Pep saying in his wispy voice :“So, so unfair!”

If they’re found guilty of financial doping then there’s no shame in losing to cheats, it’s the expected result and the whole reason why people try to dope in any sport. We would have won the title fair and square without that, so why shouldn’t we accept being upgraded from runners up if that slim chance presented itself? We probably wouldn’t get a chance to celebrate it but it’d still go on the honours list at least.

If City get docked points or their title revoked retroactively, wouldn’t that mean that you guys won it fair and square? Why would that not be agreeable to you?

Wouldn’t worry about it because only the internet fuckjobs are even contemplating this happening.

With arsenals spending under Arteta, If arsenal do win a title in the near future, they’ll have bought it just like every other side out there.

“Under Arteta” is a pretty disingenuous way to say “Arsenal finally able to spend after years of frugality, stadium debt repayments and an owner willing to put his hand in his pocket to fluff the coffers after 10 years of boardroom battles whilst routinely laughed at by all and sundry in the league due to Arsenal never spending or competing, to finally getting their ducks in a row, after 20 years of waiting to compete fairly with the artificial clubs with owners who sell oil / enslave their people”

        Thats a lot of waffle.

You might want to go look at your transfer history during that period. you can’t claim frugality whilst also spending £72 million on Pepe.

Since arteta has gone to Arsenal, no manager has spent more money at a single club, it’s a failure if you don’t win trophies after such outlay.

Pepe was the exception that proved the rule of frugality, it’s not a case against it.

But carry on with that narrative if it helps you sleep at night.

            Aubameyang, ozil, lacazette…

how many exceptions before your incorrect view crumbles before you? Arsenal routinely spent big numbers throughout over a decade of systemic failure.

Even if they get points deducted this season and Arsenal win it’ll have a * by it and won’t be considered fair and square, they should be expelled from the football pyramid and we can get on with real competition from next season.
