I find it genuinely insane that we put up with Sky. I don’t even pay for it and feel robbed. One of the biggest games of the season and for half time we get 9 mins of ads, couple mins of Sky promos and 3 mins of analysis. How they’ve normalised showing ads during a premium subscription service is impressive. I could listen to Carragher at length analysing the game but instead we get a quick sound bite.
Alvarez stinks.
🤨
Asking for a yellow card gets you a yellow card but 5 players crowding the ref calling for a penalty gets you nothing where’s the logic in that sure 5 people shouting in you face is worse than 1 putting his hand up for a yellow
Add Rodri to the list of players that cries every game to the Ref.
Even the commentator said after the handball appeal that it was " pathetic" to appeal for handball while standing right there and clearly seeing it’s come off legs …
Rodri is a class player and has been a beast of a player consistently for almost 2 years now but has a shitty attitude many times … Very unlikable… Very few City players are unlikable and he’s one of them
Yes. Exactly. He also gets away with fouls inside the box because he only pushes or hip thrusts the attacker just enough to fall but not enough to be a pen but then dives in the box when someone touches him and then cries to the refs for a call.
You make that statement while Bruno is your captain? The irony lol.
Still way behind Bruno.
Brunos at the top.
Well fair game. City missed some chances, Nunez missed some as well.
Ref did well. Both team did not have some vital players (Bruyne, Robertson). Liverpool had better subs but weaker main team than City, somehow.
Refs did well? 2nd City goal should have never been called off.
Hand literally pulling down on Alison’s left arm. You know , the arm goalies use to catch the ball.
I get it doesn’t look like a big collision or a lot of contact but if you impede a goalies arm I think that’s a clear cut foul tbh.
Both Alison’s hands are fully stretched out. His hands aren’t doing anything. Alison just lost his own balance. Even the commentators disagreed with the ref’s decision.
Ref did well, VAR however…
Quality football
No unnecessary yellow No shithousery No attitude problem players No poor refereeing No VAR controversy
2 class teams
Mysterious refereeing decisions already. Foden wants a free-kick, Foden gets a free-kick.
Games been called fine so far I think…
Right at the beginning Foden got a really soft foul for nothing, my cynicism made me feel like it was an indicator of things to come. It’s been fine otherwise though.
Cannot stand these double ad-hoardings, actually makes it a bit unwatchable.
This is the worst i’ve seen City since I can remember, whenever Doku is not on the ball they look insipid and terrible
Missing Graelish, KDB, and Stones.
Really wish Dom was on for Nunez now.
Trent is dog
You spelt that backwards
Easily our best player this match.
Refs strike again. 2nd goal for City should have stood. Not City’s fault that Allison was terrible today.
Lol City fans complaining about referees 🥴
Now that I’ve calmed down lol… Blaming the refs is a part of being a fan. We all know deep down there isn’t any favoritism. Every team gets screwed over at one point and benefits at another, but it just makes us feel good at the moment to blame someone lol.
