Of course a QB thinks play is going down because offense is going down, but what does HoF defensive players think?

One of the reasons Brady and Belicheat were so good was because many other QB’s and Coaches SUCKED. HEY TOM, how could a QB perform today if he had a Coach telling him what Defense the other Team was playing???

Another reason they were so good is Brady “left” 100 million dollars on the table for other players. Was the playoff chat a payroll cheat as well? He milked the rich wife story.

“MY team isn’t mediocre!” says the guy who retired on the verge of the all-time rushing record because his team sucked so bad.

I think they’re both right in a way. It definitely is the greatest product it’s ever been in terms of entertainment. Also offenses have definitely improved in terms of coaching and player development. But defenses have stalled in those same two categories. The new rules definitely limits their ability to attack offenses and individual defenders have less traits to make themselves valuable

I was in my early twenties watching the Lions play the Vikings in the thanksgiving game in 1995. Barry Sanders uniform came untucked. He was stuffing them back in while the announcers were blathering on. They kept the camera rolling and when Barry, my favorite player all-time, btw, had his uniform nice and tight, I watched his teammate take a can of nonstick cooking spray and lather his jersey and pants with it. The announcer started to make a comment but quickly shut his mouth. They cut away and into the dust bins of history it went.

It’s weird because there’s a “generational” qb prospect every other draft. You really think we’d be drowning in great qb play

They’re arguing different things. And Tom Brady viewpoint is probably not relatable to most people anyway.

Brady is 100% right. The NFL is boring as hell to watch now. Offense is all checkdowns and screens. Waiting for defense to catch up…

Anyone else think Aaron Rodgers response to Brady’s comments is kinda funny considering he got hurt in his first game on his new team playing the most protected position in the game? Lol
