I remember them being above mid table but after they beat Tottenham theyre now fourth and only 2 points off the top of the league. That means that if they didn’t lose to Nottingham forest or Everton they would be first. Ik they really haven’t had difficult match ups but it’s still very impressive.

Since Emery arrived over a year ago, we have been on top 4 form. That’s no exaggeration.
We have roughly the 8th best squad in the league but a phenomenal manager that helps us perform better than 8th. Where we end up in the league by the end of the season depends entirely on how far we go in Europe and if we can keep key players fit.
Villa arguably have had 4 starters out for the season so far. Ramsey and Moreno only just coming back from injury. Emery is class.
Think they were 5th before todays game or where before this game week. They have been excellent this season, basically as other have said, under Emery.
