I feel like this was really the prototypical falcons game. Elite 3 headed run game with good defense.
Our defense despite the lack of Grady Jarrett allowing 0 touchdowns along with 2 turnovers+another forced fumble is outstanding.
Desmond ridder (minus the 2 ints) was exactly what we needed. A qb who could hand the ball off and make his throws when called upon. His scrambling was also really good.
Our O-Line was really good allowing 0 sacks and tearing it up in the run game. Matthew Bergeron has been a great draft pick. Parker Hesse was also huge as a TE/FB.
I think Arthur Smith got his head right during the bye. I didn’t like the decision to go on 4th in the first quarter but I don’t hate it either. There was no cute trick play BS. Just run the ball until the defense is too tired to stop it.
Ridder pocket awareness this game cannot be understated
