Same with Hester. I’d love to see them both get in. It’s the Pro Football HoF, not the skill position and edge rusher hall of fame.
The HOF hasn’t figured out what to do with special teamers. It’s a weird situation.
I always hated the HOF perspective on that. It’s 33% of the game, and you’re going to tell me that just because the player may not have “excelled” at a skilled position that they didn’t do enough? A kicker, punter and long snapper all have one job and they command roster spots for that reason. Why are returners looked over unless they did things in addition to the return game?
I’d love to see Fletch make it. And it’s criminal that Torry Holt isn’t in.

Two incredibly underrated players. Holt not making it really boggles my mind considering that he was a large part of one of the most impressive offenses in league history.

Torry Holt’s duration as a Pro Football HoF semi-finalist is now longer than his NFL career.
