    Just enforce the rules we have now consistently. Lets work out whats working by following the rules first?

      but those rules dont appropriately punish thats the issue.

      cynical fouling exists because the trade off is worth it, its like a fine to a rich person.

      we need to stamp out tactical fouls and cynical fouls, weve just grown to accept them.

        Cynical fouls don’t always earn cards. Like the examples.

        Book them every time, and it stops.

        They do if they were applied. Yellow card. Do it twice, you’re off the field. Do it once and it’s seriously denying an opportunity red card.

        Like you said, we’ve grown to accept them - THATS the problem.

      Those rules are not enough when players gladly take the punishment of receiving a yellow instead of conceding a goal. It’s not that “they don’t get booked 100% of the time”. That’s the entire point. If they 100% get booked, it’s still worth it.
