I agree fully. I’m of the opinion var is what needs to be shown the bin.

With many, many changes to the laws. Also this argument is a fallacy.

Candles worked for centuries but we still shouldn’t go back to them.

Me too. All var has done is cause long delays for the reward of showing someone’s toenail was offsides. Blatant fouls is an officiating problem as if a foul is truly blatant then it shouldn’t be missed by any of the 3 officials.

Have you seen a game recently without VAR? It drives you up the wall. Can’t undo it.

Actually yes and I enjoy it. Sure, there’s questions about calls, but how is that different from now?

Sport is human. Played by humans and officiated by humans. It’s never going to be perfect and I honestly enjoy that aspect.

Sorry but without VAR you always will have some clear and obvious errors go unnoticed. VAR does not solve all of this of course but it’s still better.

You literally had a woman’s CL game last week without VAR where Chelsea conceded a penalty for a foul clearly outside the area and then were denied a winner for an offside that was onside.

There were no questions about these calls - they were flat out wrong. VAR gets far fewer calls flat out wrong.
