So Myles hurt the same shoulder he hurt in his car accident last year. Ever since that accident last year he has been playing with it taped up. He probably had structural damage in that car accident and elected not to have surgery in the off season. The report that the MRI showed no structural damage likely was stretching the truth a bit and meant no new structural damage was found. This article is also guessing that he has structural damage much like I am guessing he has structural damage from his car accident and this is nothing new. The article is click bait

He is 28 and under contract for 3 more years. He’s in his prime and playing at a damn near MVP level. Your Quarterbacking play is ass and your best offensive weapon has been on IR for most of the season.

Why the hell would you let Garrett keep playing and possibly ruin that shoulder worse?

There’s no actual evidence that there’s structural damage, this is pure speculation. MRIs were taken and doctors agreed that there was no structural damage.

I know you want to set an example as a captain, especially after the Deshaun Watson injury, but learn from Baker. No org, especially this org, is worth sacrificing yourself for.

He’s a tough motherfucker. That’s crazy. If I had structural damage to my shoulder my ass would be on bed rest

What is it with Cleveland and allowing their best players to try and play through shoulder injuries?

yeah no shit. Couldn’t lift arm, in a sling. Will limit range of motion and strength but he can play through it.

Injuries have really derailed this season. Without all these key injuries I think we could have made a serious playoff run. One of those “what could have been” years.

I admire the grit to want to keep playing, but I really wish he’d reconsider that decision if the shoulder injury is serious. I get that we’re 7-4 and I think it’s fairly likely we make the wildcard, but realistically this team is not going anywhere in the playoffs with our offense.

This seems like a horrible idea if he can cause further damage or push recovery into next year. The Brown’s ship is sinking this year sometimes the staff needs to protect players from themselves.

Hard to call it sinking at 7-4, especially with an extremely winnable schedule.

Rams, Jags, Bears, Texans, Jets, Bengals are their remaining schedule, and even with DTR (or worse) you probably figure 3 of those are wins at a minimum. Considering the Ravens have a MUCH more difficult remaining slate, the state of the Burrow-less Bengals, you’re basically in a race with Pittsburgh for a wildcard slot, and division title is still not mathematically ruled out
