Why on earth did we sign this guy ? There is a reason teams have been dropping him… Has he actually done anything useful ?? besides dropping passes ??.. and I am pretty certain he forgot to come back to the ball on Ridders 2nd INT last weekend. What a worthless signing. PROVE ME WRONG

They didn’t sign him to be the next Julio Jones. It’s called depth, this team has 2 good receivers and one is the tight end so yeah, it was a necessary signing.
Teams can’t be filled with studs. You literally have to have bad dudes on your team. They signed him because they believe he fills a role.
According do Dave Archer, the problem in that pick was that Jefferson looked back rather than running hard. That allowed Mathew to look up and make the pick. If VJ is running full steam, Honeybadger has to get on his horse to catch him and likely doesn’t get the chance to jump the route.
Because he was a contributing member of a super bowl winning team that we got for almost nothing. None of our best skill position players are speedsters that can threaten to take the top off the defense, and we had literally no one who could do it all besides Scotty Miller.
For the price, Jefferson was worth the shot. It just so happens that he ended up not being worth even that low cost. But you definitely can’t blame the Front Office for trying. It’s the same strategy that landed us players like Okudah.
The falcons didn’t sign him. They traded for him.
